Beginner's Digital Photography Workshop

The Beginner's Photography Workshop is perfect for you to kickstart your photography journey! We'll provide the equipment for you to learn digital photography so that you don't have to buy a camera to come to a photography class. In this 2-hour workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of photography through tonnes of hands-on exercises. You'll learn the basics of photography like lighting, exposure, aperture, shutter speed and ISO and their combined effects on an image. You'll also be controlling different settings of a camera step by step with a lot of individual attention from the instructor. We believe that one needs to have some actual experiences of using a digital camera, and the essential photography knowledge in order to know what camera and lenses to buy. We keep the class size to 6 so that everyone can move at the same pace.

Intermediate Level Digital Photography Workshop

So now you've got the fundamental concepts in photography, it is time to add some challenges! In the Intermediate I & II Digital Photography Classes, we'll teach you how to control the exposures manually and get the photos that you'll be proud of through real-life practices:

  • Still-life photography
  • Street and Action Photography
  • Long Exposure Photography
  • Light Painting
  • And more!

In this class, we'll also share a handful of powerful photo compositional tips that you can apply in various types of photography. You'll get plenty of hands-on exercises in the classroom sessions as well as the field trips. We want to make sure everyone can get the most out of your digital camera. Don't have a camera yet? No worries, equipment will still be provided in this class so you can buy yourself a camera after getting more in-depth knowledge in photography.
