Lighting is important in any type of photography. In this chapter you'll learn about the quality of light, how modify hard light and find soft light outside. In this chapter you'll watch me demonstrate photographing different types of flowers. You'll learn the of composition of flower photography, seeing the field of views created by a telephoto lens and a set of extension tubes for exploring the macro world. Last but not least, I'll show you how to get a black background.

Editing is the last but important step to turn your flower images to a piece of art. While there are videos teaching the basic editing skills in Lightroom, I'll also show you how to add textures in Photoshop to turn your image to an artistic, painterly one. Certain images will look best in black & white, and you'll watch how to do so in this chapter.
