Golden Hour & Long Exposure Photography Workshop

A sister workshop to our popular San Francisco Night Photography Workshop and Intermediate II Workshop, this special sunset experience is offered whenever San Francisco is blessed with sunny skies!

The photographs you create will be entirely different from the San Francisco Night Photography Workshop.

Led by Christina, founder and chief instructor of Photosprouts, this hands-on workshop invites you to explore the art of long exposure photography along San Francisco’s beautiful Embarcadero waterfront!

The window for capturing beautiful sunset light is incredibly short, and every minute counts! With Christina's experience photographing San Francisco's waterfront, she knows exactly where to position ourselves, when to be there, and how long to expose each shot to make the most of those fleeting moments of beautiful sunset light. She'll guide you through the process so you can focus on capturing stunning images without missing the best light.

Learn to use ND and GND filters to create silky-smooth waters, capture dramatic sunset skies, and balance exposures between the sky and foreground. With personalized, step-by-step guidance, you'll discover how to transform everyday waterfront scenes into stunning, artistic photographs.

What to Bring:

  • Your own camera and wide-angle lens
  • A sturdy tripod
  • A 6-stop ND filter
  • A 3-stop or 4-stop GND filter

Don't have the ND and GND filters? No problem! You can borrow them from us at no additional cost. We have filters compatible with most lenses on the market, please indicate your camera and lens type at the checkout.
