  • This Summit is for  Teenager Summer Camp Graudates only.
  • Learn:
  1. Urban Landscape Photography
  2. Long Exposoure Sunset Photography (the Golden Gate Bridge)
  • Equipment is not provided. Please bring your camera, lenses and camera tripods (iphone tripods won't work).
  • Equipment rental: $80 (Canon R50 +RFS 18-45mm kit lens + EF 75-300mm F4-5.6 lens & adaptor). Unfortunately we don't have camera tripods for rent.
  • If attendees are bringing their own cameras but the lenses don't have the focal length that we recommend, we can lend our lenses without additional cost.
  • Recommended focal lengths:
  • Urban Landscape: 35-70mm (equivalent)
  • Sutro Tower from Sausalito: 200-300mm (equivalent)
  • Golden Gate Bridge Night Photography from Sausalito (equivalent): 70-100mm
  • Recommended lenses: Canon RFS 18-45mm and RF 75-300mm/ RFS 55-210mm.

  • For tripods, sturdiness is key — heavier options provide better stability. If your budget allows, I highly recommend investing in this model so your camera stays steady even in strong wind.

What Will The Kids Learn In This Program?

1. Golden Gate Bridge Sunset Photography

 

  • ND & GND Filters are not needed
  • Campers will need to bring their own equipment and camera tripods (budget friendly).
  • For tripods, sturdiness is key — heavier options provide better stability. If your budget allows, I highly recommend investing in this model so your camera stays steady even in strong wind.
  • Recommended focal lengths for the Golden Gate Bridge: 70mm-100mm (equivalent).


2. Urban Landscape Photography

  • Recommended focal length for Ina Coolbrith Park cityscape shots: 35mm-70mm (equivalent).
  • Recommended focal lengths for Sutro Tower: 200-300mmmm (equivalent).
